The Asset Library is a space where slates can be uploaded and immediately reused in inputs configuration.

This section describes how to list, upload assets in the library and use them in a service.

Uploading an asset in the Library

Assets are managed per pool. Select a pool, then open the Asset Library by clicking on the left menu.

To upload an asset, click on "Add assets" and select your content as shown below.

Supported formats are JPG and PNG. File size up to 10 MB.

Click on an asset to get details shown on the right pannel:

Using an asset in a configuration

Select a Live channel and open the Input configuration.

The Slate tab allows to select a slate from the library as shown below:

Click on Apply to activate the asset. The effective impact on the output stream occurs for the next segment being processed. Depending on player policies to manage playlists, that usually happens 2 or 3 segments after the one being displayed by player.

To de-activate the slate, simply click on the "Remove state" button.

Using the API to manage slates

The same operations as described above can be performed using the API.
