Quortex Play - Product Specifications

This article defines the product specifications for Quortex Play.

Maximum input bitrate

By default, a Quortex Play pool supports SRT streams with a data bitrate up to 20 Mb/s.

If you need to activate the use of bitrates higher than 20 Mb/s, no worries, please just contact us. We will be glad to activate the support of higher bitrates on your pool.

Maximum number of pools and inputs per pool

Max inputs	3 inputs/pool	5 inputs/pool	50 inputs total

If you need to activate more that 50 total inputs in the Premium plan, no worries, please just contact us. We will be glad to define an appropriate dimensioning for you.

Premium Pools

Framerate

Framerates of a processing configuration must be within a same family (multiples).

Configuration changes that impact the OTT URL endpoints.

The following configuration updates will modify the OTT URL path:

Framerate family update (eg. 29.97 to 30)
Segment size update (eg 6s to 2s)
Low latency mode (turned on and off)

Catch Up

Catch Up is a limited availability feature.

SCTE-35 markers are not supported with Catch Up.
