How we price Quortex Link
In this article, we will explain how you'll be charged for using Quortex Link.
In a fast moving world, you need solutions that will scale with your business rather than trying to guess what the future will look like. The business model of Quortex Link follows a Pay As You Go model.
The price comprises three components:
The Features Plan: This defines the set of features you can use. The Starter plan is free and provides all essential features for streaming live. Standard and Premium plans offer additional features.
The Usage: It consists in streams Ingest and Delivery. The price depends on the on actual usage (Pay As You Go).
The Service & Support Level: The Basic level is free and provides essential support. Professional and Enterprise levels provides additional services and higher response times.

In order to receive or deliver your streams as close as possible from where you are located, Quortex Link support multiple cloud regions over the world.
Pricing ca vary depending on the cloud region used to ingest or deliver your contents.
We recommend using a region located as close as possible to your senders and receivers equipments. But you may also select a region located a bit further as it may help reduce costs.

Europe: France, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, United Kingdom
Asia: Japan (Tokyo)

Stream Ingest is priced per hour per stream received in Quortex Link, according to the ingest region category as described in the following table
Region transfer is an optional component that allows you to ingest in a cloud region, and deliver from another region. We will transfer the content between the two regions using a managed private backbone, allowing to optimize latency and improve Quality Of Service.
Region transfer doesn't apply if you ingest and deliver from the same region.
Region Transfers are priced per hour, according to the delivery region category as described in the following table.
If you ingest a stream in region A, and deliver it to multiple destinations in a region B, you will be charged only once for the region transfer.
This is the total number of bytes that the platform will output, accumulated over a month.
For event-based distribution, you can make significant savings by using our scheduler to deliver your content only when you need to.
Output streams not delivering data are charged at the given hourly rate below. This is typically the case for event-based distribution. Outside the event delivery duration, a small fee will be applied to make sure that we keep all infrastructure ready to deliver immediately your live contents.
The prices given above are full Pay As You Go - your usage will be charged $0 if you don't use the platform.
You can also benefit from private pricing that will come with a usage commitment. Usage commitments can be taken for 1 year or 3 years, and will come with significant discounts on the price list. Please contact quortex-sales@synamedia.com to get more information on the possible discounts, based on your usage!
When you commit, we continue to charge based on a pay-as-you-go model; committing simply lifts the entry barrier and offers a discount in return. Note that you can't select usage commitment when paying by Credit Card.
